Hi, I’m Alexis

I’m a multidisciplinary creative specialized in brand and production development.

2two2 Studios was created to bring brands into alignment with the vision behind them.

Every offer is built for founders who care deeply about the details and need someone who cares just as much.

ABOUT

  • For over a decade, Alexis has designed for brands, built visual worlds, and learned what engages an audience. She is a proven leader in creative direction and brand identity.

She began her career in music media — first as a graphic designer at Alternative Press Magazine, where she designed print spreads for monthly issues and helped produce the APMA Award Shows aired on AXS TV and Amazon Music. The experience gave her an early foundation in editorial storytelling, visual craft, and the pace of culture.

She went on to Los Angeles and the California music scene, supporting artist management for more than ten bands at Synergy Artist Management, before transitioning into e-commerce operations at Absolute Merch, where she managed end-to-end digital merchandise for a roster of touring artists.

Alexis's career reached a defining chapter in Chicago, where she served as Creative Director at SCP, leading creative production for some of the most recognizable names in contemporary music — including Billie Eilish, Mitski, Tate McRae, FINNEAS, Kim Petras, and Carly Rae Jepsen.

Over the past several years, Alexis has brought that same creative rigor to her independent practice as a brand identity designer and content strategist at 2Two2 Studios. She works with clients across industries to develop logos, typography systems, and social and web content that aligns a brand's vision into a cohesive, lasting presence.

Alexis brings a rare combination of industry-honed instinct and multidisciplinary craft to her work — equally fluent in the demands of fast-moving creative production and the slower, more deliberate work of building a brand from the ground up.

About Shelby & Melo Studio

A smiling woman with shoulder-length brown hair seated indoors with a striped cushion behind her and a wall with black line art and a floral lamp in the background.

At 2two2, I lead the creative and visual direction, partnering closely with my sister Shelby, who brings MBA-led infrastructure strategy and growth expertise. Together we offer something most studios don't — design and operations under one roof, built to work as one.

  • Armed with an MBA from the University of Florida, Shelby brings both analytical rigor and creative thinking to every engagement. She is known for helping organizations navigate complexity with clarity—developing strategies that are both inspiring and operationally sound. Shelby’s work sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and organizational design.

A Jacksonville native, she began her career in New York City developing national book campaigns for bestselling and celebrity authors at Hachette Book Group, one of the largest trade publishing houses in the world. There she worked on titles spanning culture, politics, and popular fiction — including Hamilton by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jeremy McCarter, Make Your Bed by Admiral William McRaven, Home by Ellen DeGeneres, It's All Easy by Gwyneth Paltrow, and novels by Nicholas Sparks and Jessi Klein, among others. The experience sharpened her instinct for narrative, positioning, and the power of well-crafted ideas.

She later joined the founding team of Common House, a modern social club and hospitality startup, where she gained firsthand experience building systems, shaping culture, and navigating the complexities of rapid organizational growth.

Over the past decade, Shelby’s work has expanded across publishing, nonprofit arts, entrepreneurship, and hospitality—giving her a uniquely multidisciplinary perspective on strategy and organizational design. Her work focuses on helping leaders clarify their vision, translate ambitious ideas into actionable programs, and build the operational structures needed to support long-term growth.

Most recently, Shelby has led the execution of a region-wide strategic initiative focused on advancing economic competitiveness and quality of life outcomes. In this role, she works closely with CEOs, civic leaders, philanthropies, and public-sector partners to align cross-sector efforts around measurable goals, turning complex, multi-stakeholder ambitions into coordinated action.
